Fruit Yogurt Pops

Funny how kids LOVE treats!  Of course mine asks for them all the time.  I want to give her healthy treats and I also want to save some money.  While looking in the frig at yogurt (I need to use up) and almost soggy strawberries I thought of...homemade yogurt pops.  Awesome! A healthy treat and a great way to have some fun with my little one.  So here is what we did...

Organic yogurt, fresh fruit, ice cube trays, and popscicle sticks.  I cut up the fruit with my pampered chef chopper and just mixed about 1 cup yogurt to 1/4 cup chopped fuit.  My daughter helped to chop fruit, stir, and scoope mixture into the trays.  Then she put all the popsciles sticks into the yogurt.  We froze them for about 5 hours.  They were such a hit she had them eaten in two days!  As she walked around saying, "These are healthy for our bodies."

Batch number two this morning, blueberries and peaches!

And they are off to the freezer for later...

Thought of this verse while making pops this morning.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

Just a simple and little reminder that thought Jesus I able to show these attitudes to my kids.
